About 200 American businesses have been hit by a cyber attack that according to the authorities is a colossal attack.
Huntress Labs said the attack targeted the Florida-based IT company and then spread to several other companies that used its software.
Huntress Labs said the attack may have been carried out by the Russian-linked REvil Ransomware gang. Meanwhile, the US Cyber Security and Infrastructure Agency has stated that it had launched an investigation to discover the perpetrators of the attack.
Companies affected by the cyber attack have urged customers to be careful. It is not yet clear which specific companies have been affected, while a Kaseya representative contacted by the BBC declined to provide details.tvklan.al
