Passed only with a vaccination passport
The increase in cases affected by Covid-19 has forced some of the countries of the European Union to restore movement restrictions in the countries of the union.
Even Germany has not escaped this rule, which, starting from Sunday, has reactivated the restrictions for persons resident in Albania.
According to a notice distributed by the German Embassy in Tirana, it is informed that incoming trips from Albania to Germany are only possible for important reasons or if travelers are equipped with a complete vaccination certificate.
In this way, Germany becomes the first country in the union to make vaccination mandatory for any European or non-European citizen who wants to enter its territory.
From the German authorities, this restrictive measure is seen as the only option to prevent the spread of the delta variant, responsible for a new wave of coronavirus that started in August.
But the other countries of the union have imposed coercive measures against Albanian citizens, but unlike Germany, the molecular buffer is also valid 48 or 72 hours before the trip.
