More than 14,500 Afghan and British nationals have been evacuated so far
British troops will end the evacuation of civilians from Afghanistan. The Minister of Defense, Ben Wallace, stated that the country has already entered the last hours of evacuation and that it will work only for those people who are inside the Kabul airport.
"We have some civilian flights to operate, but now they are very few. We are reaching the end of the evacuation, which will take place today. And then it will be necessary to get our bodies out on the remaining planes", said the head of the armed forces, General Nick Carter.

The Ministry of Defense has said more than 14,500 Afghan and British nationals have been evacuated in the past two weeks since the Taliban took control of the country.
The British defense minister estimated that between 800 and 1,100 Afghans who have worked with Britain and are eligible to leave the country will not be able to pass due to security concerns. Many Afghan citizens unable to leave say it is too dangerous to travel to Kabul airport.
Britain has been a key ally of Washington since the start of a US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 that ousted the Taliban from power at the time.tvklan.al
