USA new record of victims for the last 5 months
The entire globe is rapidly heading towards a third wave of the coronavirus, as in the last 24 hours the numbers of infections and fatalities have increased significantly in many countries.
The United States of America set a new record for the last 5 months in terms of lives lost, reporting 1287 victims. Infections also remain high, which is also reflected in hospitalizations.
Despite vaccination progress, Europe is also facing a significant increase in new cases and loss of life.
Great Britain currently has the highest number of daily infections, as in the last 24 hours it reported about 35 thousand new cases.
Germany recorded over 12 new cases, marking the largest increase in daily infections on the continent compared to the previous day.
An increase in the spread of the virus was again confirmed by Italy, where the number of infections exceeded 7 thousand.
While Russia continues to have a high number of fatalities as a result of Covid-19, as in this 24 hours it recorded over 800 victims.
