New Zealand, the first victim of the Pfizer vaccine
The European Union reaches the target of vaccinating 70% of adults within the stipulated time. The long-awaited news was given by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Lajen, who said via Twitter that the campaign will not stop here. According to her, the next objective is to vaccinate the rest of the EU population and increase aid for the rest of the globe to be vaccinated.
The numbers of infections among the member countries are stable and in recent days, no country has shown increasing trends. The same situation in Great Britain and the United States. While even in Russia, infections are decreasing, the numbers of victims from the coronavirus are high, another indicator of the negative consequences of low rates of mass vaccination.
Meanwhile, in New Zealand, the first victim caused by vaccination with Pfizer was recorded. A woman, whose age has not been released, died after the vaccine caused a myocardial infarction, a known side effect of this vaccine that is caused in very rare cases.
