Albania is also part of the benefit
The European Union has given the green light to the countries that are in the process of expansion, including the Western Balkans, granting 14.2 billion Euros as financial aid, valid for the period 2021-2027.
Albania will also be part of the benefit, along with countries such as Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iceland, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey.
In a statement from the EU, it is stated that the allocated amount will go towards the continuity of basic reforms, mainly those of the rule of law, democratic institutions, reform in public administration, as well as economic development.
