Bahtiri "doesn't give up", passes Dimal Basha and four of Kurti's ministers

Agim Bahtiri, the candidate who mentioned "Don't give up!" during a speech, which the Vetëvendosje Movement later adopted as its slogan, has achieved a high electoral result, leaving behind some of the most emblematic figures of this political entity in terms of votes.

According to preliminary results published by the Central Election Commission, after counting about 98 percent of the votes, the former mayor of Mitrovica secured 26.153 votes.

With this result, Bahtiri came ahead of Dimal Basha, who led the ninth Legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo and received 25.440 votes.

Four ministers of the "Kurti 2" government are also ranked below Bahtiri in terms of the number of votes.

Artane Rizvanolli received 26.072 votes, only 81 less than Bahtiri, while Hysen Durmishi secured 24.590 votes.

They are followed by Arbërie Nagavci with 23.777 votes and Rozeta Hajdari with 19.701 votes.

The final results are expected to be confirmed by the CEC after the completion of the vote counting process and any potential complaints.
