The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has announced that it has returned the Association of Municipalities of Kosovo (AKK) to the Anti-Covid19 Committee as a representative of the local government in Kosovo.
AKK has announced that it has refused to meet today with Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the reason that yesterday, the Government of Kosovo did not include AKK in the Anti-Covid19 Committee. Today AKK has announced that from tomorrow it will be included in this Committee to contribute and coordinate with the Municipalities in the battle against the Covid19 pandemic.
"After this decision, AKK pledges that it will continue to contribute as it has until now, since March 2020, in joint inter-institutional activities in engagements against this pandemic", - it is said in their communique.
