"We will follow you every step of the way, you will pay." This is the reaction of the American President to the persons responsible for this Thursday's kamikaze attacks at the Kabul airport.
In a speech about the serious attacks that have so far claimed at least 60 lives, including 12 American troops and more than 140 wounded, Biden said: "To those who undertook these attacks, as you remember, who seek to harm America, I tell you: We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will rumble and make you pay."
The president, according to what the BBC writes, hinted that the perpetrators may have come out of prisons that were opened by the Taliban, when they took power in Afghanistan.
He also referred to the ISIS-K terrorist group, which has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
"We will not back down from terrorists. We will not stop the mission. We will continue with the evacuations", said Biden, adding that the US will retaliate for this Thursday's attacks.
"We will fulfill our mission and continue after the troops withdraw to find and bring home every American who leaves Afghanistan. We will find them and get them out", Biden vowed.
The two kamikaze attacks this Thursday at the Kabul airport were aimed at people who are desperately trying to leave Afghanistan, after the Taliban took control.
The explosions occurred outside Abbey Gate, where US and British troops were stationed, and at a nearby hotel.
The attacks come after warnings that militants could carry out such acts as states evacuate people ahead of an August 31 deadline./tvklan.al
