The Embassy of the United States of America has reacted today after the decision of the state of Kosovo to shelter the Afghans who have worked with foreign forces and are afraid of the revenge of the Taliban because of their work.
The US Embassy in Kosovo in a post on the social network "Facebook" writes that Kosovo joins the US and other countries in calling for the safe departure of Afghans.
"Kosovo joins the United States and other countries in calling 'for all parties to respect and facilitate the safe and orderly departure of foreign nationals and Afghans who wish to leave the country,'" says the post of the US Embassy in Pristina .
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has confirmed that she has given consent to the accommodation of Afghans in our country.
Through an article on "Facebook", Osmani has said that this consent is based on the human principle that doors are not closed to those who are forced to leave their homes through no fault of their own.
The Taliban have taken control of the capital, Kabul, surrounding it from all sides. And this caused many diplomats and employees of foreign embassies to start the evacuation process, fearing that they might suffer with their lives.
At the moment when the Taliban declared victory in Kabul, the president of this country, Ashraf Ghani, left the country together with his cabinet - taking pity on Tajikistan.
