On the eve of early elections in Kosovo, the Chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement Albin Kurti and the former candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo for Prime Minister of the country, Vjosa Osmani, already in a new political movement, signed an agreement on Thursday.
"We will be on the same list for the same goals. We have made an agreement on the political principles and goals that we have just signed," explained Albin Kurti.
Kurti further announced that he and Vjosa Osmani will compete together in the election campaign and the full list of candidates will be submitted on January 16.
"2020 has made it clear that Kosovo needs a new prime minister but also a new president," said Albin Kurti, emphasizing that the interim President of Kosovo has performed her duties and responsibilities in full dignity.
In his speech, the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement expressed his willingness to serve humbly for the freedom and equality of the citizens of Kosovo as well as for the progress and success of the country.
The Acting President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani emphasized that the common will of cooperation is to give Kosovo's politics a new spirit, which aims to fight state capture, injustice and inequality and commitment to recovery, well-being and dignity , as he expresses his determination that Kurti will be the next prime minister.
"We are determined for a Kosovo where everyone can ensure a dignified life. This is not only possible, but also convenient with the achievement of this partnership, where Kurti will be the prime minister of our country", she said.
