The Kosovar driver, who caused the tragic accident in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, where 11 emigrants who were coming to Kosovo lost their lives, has been remanded in custody for another 2 months.
The driver's lawyer, Igor Cishper, told the media there that his client's detention was extended under the pretext of the possibility of escape.
"My client's detention was extended for another two months due to the possibility of escape. I communicate with him, he is not in good health. It is in very bad condition. We offered a guarantee of 100,000 kunas (66.000 euros), but the court did not accept it. My client talks to his family in Kosovo every day, but it's not good at all. And based on the situation, it's difficult," he said.
