Built by Sir Richard Branson "Virgin Galactic" rises at a distance of 85 km from the Earth
17 years of work to create a space plane has been successfully completed. Part of this historic flight was the British businessman, Richard Branson. Through the plane of the company Virgin Galactic, he together with two pilots and three other people on board have taken the initiative to travel at a fairly far distance from the Earth.
The Virgin-made vehicle was lifted into the air by another aircraft and, after launch, used the rocket to blast off into space. With this move, billionaire Richard Branson joined billionaire Jeff Bezos, who is planning a flight for July 20. This makes Branson the first of the space tourism pioneers to reach space, beating Tesla's Elon Musk and Amazon's Jeff Bezos.
The Virgin Galactic plane has stayed for several minutes, while passengers have had the opportunity to remove their seat belts and enjoy the view of the earth while floating in zero gravity. Fortunately for them, everything went smoothly. It is believed that the vehicle climbed to a height of 85 kilometers from the ground. Commercial flights to space with Virgin Galactic are expected to cost around $250 per person.
