After the increase in the cases of those affected by COVID-19 and after the new measures taken by the country's institutions, the Kosovo Police will be active from today in the realization and implementation of these measures.
This is stated in the announcement of the Kosovo Police. "The police will update the Operational Plan, adapt it to the measures taken and based on those decisions, based on the Anti-Covid Law, from tomorrow they will implement the tasks and obligations that they have against the decisions and measures taken in the direction of fighting the spread of the pandemic", the announcement states.
Kosovo Police in this case also appealed, asking citizens, institutions, businesses to respect the latest decisions taken by the government.
As in the past, based on the law in question, the police will also take punitive measures against law breakers.
"Therefore, we request that the wearing of the mask is done in those cases as foreseen by the recent decisions so that once again we can reduce the numbers of those affected and protect public health all together".
